Marketing + Branding

Modern brides in Dayton, Ohio, needed an elegant alternative to converted barns and hotel ballrooms. I branded The Lift, a newly renovated industrial wedding venue downtown, crafting a logo that captured its unique style. I directed photoshoots, produced content, wrote copy, and designed all print and digital assets to highlight the venue’s appeal.

Design + Content Creation

When I moved to Dayton, finding local events and new business openings was a challenge, with information scattered across multiple sources. To simplify this, I created Curafied, a weekly curated news roundup texted directly to your phone—like 'Morning Brew' or 'The Skimm,' but local. I developed the sign-up process, text workflow, digital assets, social media, and wrote the news recaps in a relatable, millennial tone (best viewed on mobile).

Creative Direction + Lifestyle Writing

The South Dayton suburbs, including Centerville, Miamisburg, and Springboro, are thriving upscale communities. To connect these affluent readers with top-tier local goods and services, I franchised a monthly City Lifestyle print publication called South Dayton Lifestyle (now Centerville Lifestyle). I spearheaded the creation of captivating photography and engaging local stories that consistently attracted both readers and advertisers. Additionally, I contributed several articles and a "Letter from the Editor" in each issue from October 2019 to January 2021.

Web Development + Copy

When my client, the builder of The Lift, needed a website for his residential community, The Grove at Yankee Trace, he turned to me. I designed and wrote the copy for a site that showcased the community and his build process for prospective clients, while also creating a resident portal for accessing documents, paying HOA fees electronically, and connecting with neighbors—something no other local community offered.

Long-form Social Content

As a fan of fashion and technology, I recently wrote a LinkedIn piece on using Midjourney to create fashion illustrations that reimagine trends for millennials and millennial moms that currently has over 800 impressions. I also interviewed a startup founder on his new AI platform that empowers digital artists to monetize their creativity which was well received in the AI artist community with 2,278 impressions.
